12's at V2
The Cookies posted another 3-0 record winning their pool. Coach Jones shared, "We had more 1,2,3 [a pass, set, and attack] today and a few attack's at the net. Serving was really good [and] very consistent."
13's at V2
The Worl/Ebert team went 2-2 on a full day of play. Coach Eaton has done a good job at 3A Tippy Valley. Her V2 teams are good. Coach Bailey was excited by a 13-15 defeat to V2, which is a strong team. Hanging with V2 is something to be excited about.

15's at CIViC
15's Carroll went 3-1 on the day. Statistically and by the eye test they show improvement, but serving errors (we had six in ONE SET) and receive difficulties continue to make our volleyball life difficult. Still 3-1 is not a bad day's work.
15's Delphi/Cass went 0-3 on the day. Remember that I believe serving and receive are the two most important skills in the sport. This team is improving, but they have a way to go yet to beat a good team.
15-7's played really well going 1-2. Please remember, they spent the day playing against 8th graders and actually did well. Watching them compete against older girls so well sure makes the prospects for next year exciting.
16's at CIViC
The 16's team played on the edge all day. They won 25-20, 17-25, 17-15 over Lincoln. Then they won 26-24, 18-25, 15-13 over Cass County. Then, they lost in the championship game 14-25, 25-20, 14-16 to Daleville, who had a million service errors. The lesson of the day is do not send balls to teams that attack balls. Too many forearm shovels across the net and setter sends. For the day, CIViC scored 172 points and gave up 183.
17's at Delta
Both 17's had an early morning in Delaware County. 17's Goodspeed went 1-2 for the day. They won the 1st match and then lost the next two in three sets each. Meanwhile Coach Jones helped out a ton by subbing for Coach Greg and also went 1-2. Not having two girls available complicated life. First match was 15-25, 18-25 as everyone struggled in the new rotation. Second match was a 18-25, 25-17, 12-15 loss to Delta. They crossed over and beat a Daleville team 25-12, 25-17.
18's in Indianapolis
The 18's made another championship final going 3-1 at the Team Indiana Shamrock Showdown and are now 10-2 for the season. The team beat the Starlings from Indianapolis in two and then played three teams within an hour of us. They beat Performance Point from Lafayette, Cass County from Royal Center, and then lost to a good Grant County team (Marion, IN) in the finals. What a great great day of passing! This is passing for the records in my life. We need to recognize M. Herr, M. Campbell, E. Garing, and M. Hayslett as they combined to pass 2.47 against the Starlings, 2.67 against Point, 2.33 against Cass, and 2.53 against Grant County. They passed 2.50 for the day!!! That is crazy good!
