So how good was Court 3? Cass County wins pool play and then the cross over. Decatur Force was runner up in pool play and then wins their cross over. CIViC is last in pool play and then wins their cross over. Whoa. That is pretty crazy.
We want to acknowledge that C. Jones, R. Gleason and K. Blissitt were really good in serve. C. Jones, K. Blissitt, and O. Neal were good in serve receive. G. Ayres led us in hitting on the day at .272 (17-5/44). After the level of play dropped following pool play, S. Adams was a little more efficient with her offense.
The team ended up 2-2 for the day. Got clobbered in pool play twice. That was not unexpected. Those were two pretty good teams. They both had kids who could pass, serve, and hit and had a couple of major terminators. Both teams had high court IQ's. They moved about efficiently. We won both cross overs fairly easily. Set two of match two was a little iffy as we missed a million serves it seemed.
