Sorry. Been busier than a one armed paper hanger as my father-in-law use to say, so I am just now getting results posted.
Top of the batting order - 18's
The 18's continue to roll as they won their 3rd consecutive tournament.
They faced little competition from Boiler's or FWIN (Fort Wayne) as they won in straight sets every match. L. Worl led them in hitting at .435, M. Herr with 21 kills, M. Saylors in serve receive at 2.20, and G, Filbrun with 10 aces.
16's
The 16's Birnell went to Delaware County to volleyball power Delta High School where they went 2-1 in a very unorganized play date is my understanding.
15's
The 15's had a huge weekend of play as they went to Anderson's U. on Saturday and Legacy Courts in Lafayette on Sunday. They went 4-2 at Anderson and finished 2nd in a 15's pool (freshmen) on Sunday winning 6 sets and losing twice.
13's
The 13's went north to play at Pioneer. The CIViC teams combined to have a great weekend of play winning seven matches and losing only twice. Hats off to those coaches as this age group is really doing well.
