The passing numbers are based on a 3.0 scale. The closer to three, the better. Clearly, E. Byrum and G. Anes had great days passing. At this age, passing 1.7 is drop dead fantastic. I can live with 1.0 and above. To be competitive on a regular basis, we need primary passers to be 1.35 and above.
The serving numbers are very rudimentary. We want more aces than errors. We want to tip our cap to G. Anes, C. Dunkin, and E. Byrum. All three have 2:1 ace to error ratio or better. G. Anes is off the charts at 5.33:1.
Hitting numbers are calculated by taking kills minus errors divided by total attempts to calculate hitting efficiency. The closer to one (1) the better. C. Dunkin and E. Bryum were monsters! Hitting .100 is good, to hit over .300 on double digit attempts, well, it sure helps in going 3-0 for the day!
The Eurit/McClain Team was in a four team pool and went 1-2 on the day. I will post details if they become available.
