Serve Receive continues to trouble this team. At the start of the season, R. Allbaugh and P. Jones were able provide us some stability. However, neither has passed anything close the past two weekends to what they achieved early in the season.

Our Serve is something that we do well in theory. This weekend the theory was not matched by the application. We missed way too many serves. We had 25 aces with 21 errors, which is a 1.19:1 ace-to-error ratio. We were lucky that Knights were struggling and this was Cass Co. 2nd team. Our 2-1 day could have easily been 0-3.
M. McMains: 19-3/29= .557 5A 17pts.
J. Seward: 5-5/19= 0 (Zero!!!) 3A (a negative ace-to-error ratio!!!) 10pts.
P. Jones: 20-2/27= .666 7A 18pts. (her stats vrs. V2, 0-2/3= (-.666) 0A 0pts.)
E. Byrum: 9-2/20= .350 5A 14pts.
M. Viney: 7-4/13= .230 0A (Zero!! Another negative ace-to-error ratio!!!) 8pts.
J. Herron: 8-3/18= .277 4A 12pts.
R. Allbaugh: 1-2/5= (-.200) 1A (Another negative ace-to-error ratio!!!) 3pts.
L. Felker: 1-1/2= 0 0A 0pts.
Our hitting is not something that concerns me. It is hard to evaluate as our passing puts our setters in scramble mode a lot, which makes it difficult to improve the ball. Also, given a chance to put a net up, I want to serve. Remember, serve and receiving serve are the 2 most valuable skills in the game.
M. McMains: 11-0/24= .458 (This is a huge Tip of the Cap for Makayla. Congrats!)
J. Seward: 4-5/14= (-.071)
P. Jones: 1-0/1= 1.000

J. Herron: 2-1/4= .250
L. Felker: 9-5/19= .210
Team: 38-19/86= .220
