Is this the best passing team we have ever had in club?
The numbers say, "Yes!"
J. Goodspeed is passing 1.73 in practice, which is really really solid, yet she can not get on the floor to pass in a match.
The reason is we have four, yes four kids passing better than 1.75. M. Campbell is passing 2.12, E. Garing is passing 2.0, M. Hayslett is 1.79, and M. Herr is 2.09.
Not only are we passing well, we are not getting aced a ton: Campbell is aced 7.8% of the time, Garing is 11.9% (that number comes down every tournament), Hayslett is 11.2%, and Herr is 5.5%. Goodspeed is 16.6%. That is the reason Jenna has not passed in a match. While 1.73 is good, that 16.6% is too high.
I want to throw some love at Megan Herr. Passing 2.09 and being aced only 5.5% of the time is spectacular. Being 6'1 and posting those numbers is simply unbelievable. So, not only is this team the best passing team in club history, Megan is the best passing hitter we have ever had.
