In the 8th grade pool, 15-8's Tina played in a really tough pool going 0-3 for the day. While we are not pleased that they did not get a win, lets acknowledge that they played a number of club's top teams and were competitive in all 8 sets they played but one.
In the 7th grade pool, 15-8's Denny went 2-1, handing Southwood their only defeat of the day, beat CIViC's 15-7's in straight sets, and lost close to Cass County. Serve receive continues to haunt our teams in general and 15-8's Denny specifically.
The 15-7's opened the season going 0-3. They also struggled in serve receive and had an injury mid-week that forced them to play a rotation without any practice, which is always tough.
